We came across galloping horses, ski jumping competition and a little crash and burn in Leadville, Colorado--ski joring. The perfect Colorado adventure, skijoring combines Colorado's favorite pastimes, skiing and horseback riding. One of America's best skijoring competitions takes place every winter in Leadville, Colorado, 30 minutes west of Vail, Avon and Edwards.
