While I wasn't the only "person of age' at the Occupy Springfield MO General Assembly held at Washington Park in Springfield, Missouri October 15, 2011, most of the organizers were students at SMU or perhaps some from Drury College. I found it interesting to see how the "General Assembly" worked. The demonstration and march in Springfield went great. There were no incidents, no arrests and as the protesters marched from Park Central Square to "The Kitchen" on Commercial Street, where they donated food and clothing to help Springfield's homeless and needy. If you haven't seen my "This is What Democracy Looks Like" video of the October 15 march, check it out on this channel. Occupy Springfield MO is nothing if not transparent. If you've ever wondered what the protesters do at their General Assembly meetings, here's your chance to find out. I didn't do much editing on this video, only cutting a few seconds here and there of some of my shots of the grass and my shoes, when there was no relevant audio. Otherwise, except for the transitions, title and credits at the end, it's pretty much the raw deal.
I hope you enjoy it and learn a little more about the "Occupy Together" movement. Seeing these college kids at work gave Old Lefty hope for the future of America. I hope it does you too. If you get bored with watching the voting, you might want to skip ahead to about 18:30 for a moment of "megaphone malfunction" that I thought was pretty funny.- Peace

Several organizations are working together in the United States to organize a demonstration on Feb. 27th. The purpose of this demonstration is to bring awareness to the general public of the genocide that is currently being committed against the Boer people in SA. Our plan is to gain enough media attention that there will be an outcry from the public forcing world governments to take action and intervene. For more information visit southafricaproject.info

Good turnout for the march and rally. There were MANY competing events so this was an excellent attendance number. Thanks to all patriots who attended. Join us!!! There is too much under- and unemployment in Missouri and Springfield.
