Another thing is that about Obama being a communist, this is pretty clearly false. Though he does agree with socialist things like health care etc. we already have socialist schools, fire department, and police. Not to mention most people would be helped by is policies.

Separation of church and state aren't just only evolution versus creationism.

First off, no there is no "softening" there is just a long term problem that allows the government to keep control, there is no preferable outcome for the general population, just the State. That needs to be made abundantly clear, stimulus only helps the State. Second, there are no conservative / liberal policies in terms of economics, both parties use the same policies in any meaningful sense, there is no change. Last, the outcome would be a thousand times better if the bad businesses failed.

@LifeIsPietzsche your reply can be summed up in your last sentence "stimulus just prolongs the crash and spreads it over the next decade or longer." this is key; to soften the blow, it's better to 'spread it over' the next decade and deal with the problems in a prolonged manner, which is needed to slowly counter the destructive nature of conservative policies.

The stimulus did nothing productive, a market correction would have been much better overall. The problem lies with how the State has tried to structure the economy, crashes happen when you artificially manipulate the market, the "stimulus' is just a way that the State can keep its hand in everyones' pockets. The market demands a crash due to the damage done by central economic planning, stimulus just prolongs the crash and spreads it over the next decade or longer.

@LifeIsPietzsche then look at it from another angle; had the president NOT implemented the second stim package, just where do you think the usa would be right now? considering stock market was down 1,000 pts, 100,000 jobs lost each month. hundreds of foreclosures each week. where would we be had he NOT acted?

Nice conclusion jump there. I am no conservative, Fox News = MSNBC and they both suck. This video was about Democrats not Republicans, but I do think its important to point out that Obama has done nothing to change economic policies, nor has the Democratic party who has controlled Congress since 2006. BOTH Parties FAIL; that is and has always been the point. I agree that Bush had a negative impact on the economy, and it can't be fixed by Obama copying him in every meaningful policy.
