glad you enjoyed - check out my other videos for more tests

  • Nice work.

  • @CrazyScience Thanks, if you have a go at making these, let me know how you get on and feel free to comment on any methods you think could be improved on.

  • That worked without cooking and re-crystallizing the kno3 and sugar? You just put it in as a mixed powder?

  • @VonHobbit Yes just in powder form, if you don't pack it tight enough it bursts out as with the first rocket.

  • it would be awesome if you could put parachute to open in the air and that rocket slowly falls (sorry on bad english)

  • hey, quick question, i want to make a sugar rocket that launches from a propane powered potato gun, would the explosion of the propane set of the sugar rocket?

  • @pyroisus i should have realised ebay would sell anything even a dangerous chemical.

    ohh and thanks mate :)

  • @TheTrincaable complex steps of mixing potassium hydroxide and ammonium nitrate. Its pretty expensive to produce your own. Also harmful ammonium gas is produced in the making. I would reccomend buying it already made. Ebay is very good. If you dont like the internet, your last resort is Stump Remover. relitavily pure. Very expensive for the amount you get though. I got 10 pounds for $50 on Ebay. Where 3 pounds of stump remover would cost $50.

  • how did you create the potassium nitrate? i know its a silly question but i want to know how you produced it :D

  • I loved the slight delay before the rocket took off. This never happens with either BP or perchlorate motors really. Thank you.

  • Do they come back down ?

  • 0:42 a present to your neightbour

  • nice! will ammonium nitrate work too??

  • you make nice rockets instead of making a long wooden stock to it
