I have plans to buy a laptop with intel HD 300 graphics card. Does Gnome 3 runs properly with this particular graphics card?

    Thanks :)

not sure to be honest mate... i know there are some issues with ati and gnome-shell... not sure if it has been fixed 100% yet... but you can't really go wrong with Nvidia on Linux

  • After some initial critical view i am beginning to like the new interface a lot.

But it still need some tweaking to become more better.

  • I still think Linux Mint with Gnome 2.32 is the best, thanks to the Mint Menu. Makes everything easy. And I love having all my windows in a bar where I can just click them, instead of having to go to Activities, and then look. I even like Unity better than Gnome 3 at the moment.

Dunno... Maybe. When the community "not Gnome" fixes up the useless paradigm of switching workspaces between applications LoL.

I see Power users go for Openbox over Kde.... But the more choices the better i guess

  • I will never forgive the gnome developers for what they did...

  • @Lancioyz125
