About 10 years after they peaked, Hamilton's Teenage Head got a fresh shot of publicity in 1991. This clip is from a no-audience recording at a small-town TV station that was released as a half-hour broadcast.
This band is not about virtuoso technique and shoe-gazing solos. Its about getting people dancing in a bar or at an outdoor festival. One-of-a-kind frontman Frankie Venom's murky vocals competed with a wall of sound from barre chords through a full-tilt Marshall, plus energetic bass and drums. RIP Frankie.
