What is The Atheist Experience?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas, geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

  • i WISH ALL CHRISTIANS AND RELIGIOUS PEOPLE IN THIS PLANET WERE LIKE THIS GUY...HE IS SO NICE AND POLITE.

  • @foxriverfred If god can't "communicate" then there would be no bible. If the bible is true, then god obviously can communicate with people, he just sucks at it. A book inspired or written by a infinite being would be free of loopholes or interpretation issues unless the being was intentionally trying to decieve us. If we didn't properly understand god's message, then god is either deceitful or incompetent.

  • wow, its A) good to see that fellow Orthodox Christians are doing the job they were left by Christ IN THE CORRECT MANNER such as this guy, and B) this is evident in the response most of the atheists on here are giving this guy, at least respecting him and therefore Orthodoxy. Too bad the Schism of 1054 and then Martin Luther happened, otherwise we wouldnt have fundamentalists and evangelicals doing idiotic stuff, giving people of a secular worldview more reason to hate even the idea of God.

  • @DaToNyOyO it is also quite immoral to have idiots like you to judge other people's choice and their free will.If a man wants to be an atheist, let him be an atheist,if he wants to be an Orthodox Christian, let it so.Why does it always have to be freakin' idiots who believe in this shit called as brainwashing?

  • @bekacynthia i am nice

  • Looks like some christians have a brain

  • "..the "wrong believers", they plant themselves so deeply in their belief system that you almost can't talk to them.."

Yes. Like christians. Like the caller. Like ALL theists. It's what's known as brainwashing and it tends to occur at the hands of their parents and from an early, early, age.

~ It should be illegal ~

I find it amusing that the caller can see this in others and see how ridiculous it is, but not see it in himself. This is how deep the brainwashing goes. They just glaze over.

  • @JoeyisDREADful And it wouldn't have 438 contradictions.

  • I like this guy.

  • @zragisha I wish I could be more generous. I do lots wrong myself, I can admit to that. Before putting nay viewpoint about morals I feel I should admit it before making statements about morality I do not worship me or anyone else. Life is a judgement call and every situation is different..

  • @GnarlyNewEngland yeah... imagine gandhi was more like hitler... wtf?
