This Demonstration Cartridge was used in stores from 1979 to 1982 to show off the Intellivision video game console by itself (without the Keyboard Component; the separate demonstration tape cassette was used for the console with the keyboard). The demo looped continuously, probably driving many store clerks crazy.

  • @moviedudeinc Wait, wrong URL. :D Try this one instead: /Vintage-Mattel-INTELLIVISION-Console-System-LOT-GAMES-/310331592711?pt=Video_Games&hash=item4841345007

  • @moviedudeinc eBay. Currently there's one up which supposedly ships with all the necessary hookups and games for $99. Attach this to the end of the URL: /i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=Mattel+Intellivision&_sacat=See-All-Categories

  • I prefer the 2600, but Intellivision is still cool with a good number of timeless classics. Can't stand those overlays, though!

  • i have one just sitting in the box in my closet.

  • Better than Atari 2600 graphics.
