  • Feel the power that can come from your camera, when it is hooked up to your heart and mind. Go out and make images that will explain man to man and each man to himself. Feel the joy that comes with that power.

  • John, you bring up many interesting points but if I had all of the issues you discuss floating around in my head when shooting I probably wouldn't take many pictures. I do think, however, that the thought processes you describe are valid, but IMHO better off applied during the editing process. I find I get a better selection of images when I'm in a state of "mindful mindlessness" when shooting. I'm just looking for any images and do the editing later.
