  • This glow effect is just postprocessing. You can acchieve better results with AE, PS etc.

    If you want your object to emmit light: Add a mia_material_x to your object. In the attribute editor add a mia_light_surface to the Additional Color (under Advanced). Choose a color and increase intensity and the FG Contribution. Render with Mental Ray and Final Gather!

  • how about creating glow maps? if u want specific areas only to glow on an object.

  • I did exactly what you did and I did not get any glow effect 

  • @3xXlovepainXx3 Right-click on the intensity value (beside the slider) and click on 'Set Key' to make a keyframe for that intensity value.
