  • What a great truck , what are your plans for it? Thanks for the video...

  • sold it. video was used to sell it on ebay

  • Hahaha! Gotta love the straight manifolds... we've got an old one like that. Its got a 289 in it.

  • Sorry It's a 272 Y block. Ford did not introduce the 90 v8 as a 221ci powerplant until 1962 with 145hp and in 1963 released it as the 260 and 289 bumped to 195hp with a 2bbl and 225hp with the 4 barrel....sorry I had to school you, cant let you canadians keep running around with your facts all wrong. have a good one, keep burning fatties (tires)

  • Because he made a law saying every new car HAD to get 35 mpg! Duh! But then again Obama just sucks period. Haha

  • lol why not let obama see it ?

  • Don't let Obama see that truck.

  • my grandfather had a 56 f350 dump truck with grain sides on it. i used it to sell firewood when i was a teenager and even drove it to town on the weekends if my 72 roadrunner was broke down. so i drove it a lot. it had a small v-8 with the exhaust manifold crossing in front of the engine. i think it may have been 240ci but not sure. does anyone know what v-8 engines came that year?

  • You gotta love that sound!

  • Thank you for the info. That is bad ass. Love the nostalgia in this old beast.

  • jesus! that old 289 cant haul its big ass around! needs a 460!

  • Ouch, sounds like a slow one, but at least those old 289's are reliable as the family dog!
