The film opens with the Hubert H. Humphrey family visiting the LBJ Ranch. LBJ, HHH, and Beagle relax in front of the house. Lyndon B. Johnson, Mrs. Johnson, Muriel Humphrey, and their son Skipper Humphrey sit in chairs. LBJ stands next to HHH and Skipper. Muriel relaxes in a chair. Lady Bird stands by a fence with the Pedernales River in the background. LBJ, HHH, and Skipper inspect a new tractor near river. LBJ (shirtless) relaxes in a lawn chair and talks to HHH.
The next scenes are of Arthur Godfrey and friends visiting the Johnsons. LBJ visits with Arthur Godfrey on the front lawn. Scoop Russell talks with George Reedy.
