  • Can anyone tell me the song that it plays in the video? I love this song!!

  • The Preacher and the Slave by Joe Hill (1911)

  • Who cares who the President is. The system runs itself, regardless what token representatives we elect. A CEO of one the major corporations has more power and influence than any president nowadays...and guess what, we don't get to elect CEO's (not that it would matter anyways).

  • REAL change doesn't come at the ballot box. Read your history, and I'm not talking about a Civics 101 history book.

  • wow, I still think the idea of one big union to take down the Capitalist system will work, but first we all have so much to do. thanks for the video I think it is great.

  • Proud member of the IWW now. Abolish the wage system! The world's resources are all of ours!

We will get something to eat for there is plenty for all.

  • Anarchy is the answer. Nuff'said

  • The IWW suffered horribly (murder, jail, et al) for the 8 hour work day, which we now take for granted.

  • Haywire Mac McClintock sings the song. He wrote Hallelujah I'm A Bum. He's best known for singing The Big Rock Candy Mountain.

  • Awesome vid thanx for the greatest history story ever told!!!!

  • @OttOmOlOtOv Well the employees should be able to elect a CEO anyway.

  • Work to bring about your salvation! Burn your local church! It's what Jesus would do!

  • can anyone identify the artist of the images used in this video?

This is a really well created work. The music and art are perfect.

  • Leaders are given more and more power, and eventually turn on each other, or consolidate their power through some other means.

  • "equal start", thats one of the fundamentaly attributes of socialism
