  • I once had an idea to do a photo essay of abandoned cars across America. The idea was to trace back each car, using available VIN numbers and state DMV records. I wanted to see if I could find a story on some of these cars; who owned it new, where was the car first sold, who owned it along the car's lifeline, etc, etc. A story of the person or persons, family or families involved in the car's history. Not possible for all but, perhaps, some? It would be fun to know the stories, it's history

  • Ghost towns....abandoned farms....cars so old they are now 'classic'. Interesting to see, wonder who lived there, what their lives were like, why the town/farm was abandoned.

  • @MrRonnieGWhen i find one, i always try to picture the old abandoned cars how they were when they were new and how it must have been for the owner to bring them home for the first time, or the journeys they have been on. It is very interesting if you think about it. Good idea.
