i burn i really like to do for triceps involves a cable machine. start with heavy tri push downs (4-6reps) then immediately go into rope push downs 30 per of 1 rep max to failure. make sure to keep form on the rope though because its a hell of a burner you'll want to round your back and start recruiting other body parts to help with the weight.

i used to do these all the time and i like them and still like them, but if u want serious triceps u need to do close grip or reverse close grip bench. brings out the triceps all the way down to the elbow not just the up heads

@pwnagenuss It is only hard on the joints if you bounce the weight at the bottom of the set. Using the proper weight and proper form, this is a safe and effective triceps exercise. All the best! --Jay

@bassmasternick This is a myth. Diet gets you cut, varying reps just offers variety, as long as, the muscle is thoroughly worked.
