i bet ppl will turn sounds off, just like they do with shadows -_-
I rly wish AV to disable shadows option and sounds also... the whole concept of hiding and such is ruined.

Darkfall is doing great, reminds me a lot of EVE when it came out - a bit rough at release with a dedicated following, evolving into the best sandbox game on the market bar none.
DF needs to stay true to the sandbox model and continue to add sandboxy features. I think the biggest failing of the game is not having local banks, the lack of regional-based markets, and localised rare resources.
The combat system is excellent but lacks depth. I don't think the "everyone's a hybrid" model works.
