@OcarinaLink24 The origin is from when she first came out. There was a video where her hair was parted. Viewers thought that her hair made her look like an octopus, so it became a vocaloid meme.

One of the best vids I have seen in either AMV, Vocaloid or J-Pop related. The song is fun light and addictive. The animation is extremely cute and draws me into the entire video. Makes me jealous of the boy she is walking and at one point running to. Even if its a long distance run.
