'Jonny & Group' - Moving to New York

Our version of The Wombats single. We didnt get to practise it through wholely once, and Tim on the bass learnt the riff about 2 mins before we had to stop practising and get the place ready for the talent show. And I havent played the song in ages, so I made bits up, and I have never sang infront of more than my showerhead before so I was very nervous, hence me not looking up and sounding funny at times.

i dont think people actaully realise that we had never ever played this song before! or played together b4! jonny had just heard the song so playin by ear. sam on guitar just taught himself parts of the song n me..i'd never touched a bass before! i play drums n can only play a tad on the geeetar. sam n jonny thought at 4 o'clock it'd be funny to play it, so sam showed me what strings to pull...we went through half of the song once!! oh n its the 1st time sam had ever sang before.

Considering the circumstances it was all right, but youre making a mistake I used to make where one part of the music youre playing (the guitar) dominates the other (the vocals) and you end up leaving out the start of some lines.

It's all practice though buddy ;) keep it up!
