i actually own a 6.28csi and none of these cars needs any upgrades to get to 200km/h it's how bmw used to make cars =P not like today (116i wtf?!)

@bt635 Close ratio AND dogleg... I'm jealous. I'm stuck with the slushbox automatic right now in my '85 635CSi, US Spec. I'd love to get my hands on a Euro car someday...

It seems like your shift from third to fourth came bit early. Where you using the tach for clues?

Not quite,
Just trying to keep the 29 year old baby a bit healthy :)
First two shifts were redline (approximately 6000 rpm) ;)
