Not so much a remix, but more, a re-rendition using midi files played back on my 4mb Regression Fm soundfont. It is not available for download currently as it is a work-in-progress and is subject to change. However, it will be released most likely by summer. Stay tuned and subscribe for more music added weekly! It's nice to hear how well the NES styled instruments play well with the Sega Genesis/Dos FM sounds... These are just regular downloaded midi files off the internet + the 4mb sound font on my 10 year old sound blaster live soundcard. And yes, it works on windows [rotten] Vista. Stay away from Vista, Please, if you can help it. Unless you have 4gb or more ram and a DX 10 video board, but then, shouldnt you be playing modern hi-fi games anyways?
I hope you enjoy this song i remember first hearing at a friend's place TWENTY YEARS AGO. Ok. I officially feel old, but atleast I have one thing to show for it.

  • interesting... but helpfull, you may very well be right! This is a work in progress afterall and these are exactly the comments i was looking for. This is recorded off a midi and run through my self-designed synthesizer. Let me know where it's out of tune (and yes the first song the drums are just not there, try adding &fmt=18 to the end of the URL of this video to see if it helps hear the drums... but they are quiet). This is stuff written for modern sample based midi, but thank you!

    -out of lives theme

    -intro cinematic theme
