Settle down, susettattoos. Covering a song is one of the best forms of flattery. While the audio ain't too happening, it appears that they did this song justice. From what I've read, Crooke didn't enjoy being called an "alt-country" band, but if you were going to categorize Jolene, that's what they were. Unless you wanted to call them an R.E.M. ripoff, which they also kinda were. Mayhap, even "college rock".
