The Boston Pops performs Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" at the annual Fourth of July celebraton on the esplanade. Freddie Mercury would've loved it and I'm sure Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon would find it wonderfully refreshing!

  • Was there it was great. The crowd was really into it....great umbrella guitar solo by Ethan from Jackson, Tn..

  • @dxyblus ...Thanks for the credit to Ethan -- I was hoping someone would be able to identify him. My family was watching and we loved his umbrella solo!!!! He looked like he was having a blast. What a crowd that was this year.

  • Do you have the video of the whole concert?

  • @bboughton1 ....sorry, no, just managed to get this song - as we were watching.

  • @ehcmier ....LOL!!! Agree.

Plus some of "us Americans" happen to love all things British. It's too small a world to be differentiating...we're all more alike than not!

  • @NiGHTSFangirl You Brits won't stop saying "you Americans" for a hell of a lot of unimportant reasons. Criminy!

  • @tbird209 .... AMEN!

  • I was there and everyone in the audience was singing!!! This song is now an international gem. It belongs to no country. Great choice POPS!!
