Awesome video, everything went exactly as demonstrated

I need to clean my filter from my intake. Is it easy to take off the bumper? Rather than jacking the car up manually and trying to get it from below.
-
Should have let us hear it

Thanks for the video! It helped my when I put in an Injen intake yesterday on my 04 TL. Just some things to note for other people doing this to their TL
* I didn't find using the drill at 2:42 - 2.59 to be necessary.
* The other end of the resonator at 3:42 has a 10mm bolt holding it near the battery.
* Injen has a slightly different configuration with the hoses than the one shown in the video, so it's important to read the instructions. Coolant will leak nonetheless.

You could get a bypass, or a hydroshield

it best if u go with cold air intake if u live where it doesnt rain much right? is there any thing that will protect the intake from sucking in water?
-
can it be done on a carburated engine?
-
@bootspur who you callin a trick....hoe!
-
"cold air intake" is a extremely overused term, and honestly i am sick of uneducated dip shits like this making instructional videos. be careful driving in the rain, unless you have a bypass valve, and i didnt see one.
-
So much work for such a marginal gain. Great tutorial though.
-
@goatman5 those filters do not require oil just blow them out and re-install... They are called dry filters.
-
@goatman5 YES, but isn't that kind of defeating the concept OF "cold air" installing one of those little mickey mouse tricks?
-
can i follow the same steps for a 2006 accord v6? everything looks similar
-
Hey man,
Great video should help me out for when I get mine . Just a quick question do you really have to remove the front bumper to install the cold air intake? Possible undering if it could be done with just removing the driver side tire. What are your thouoghts? Which intake system did you go with? I am shopping around and I am thinking of going with the AEM V2 system you know anything about that one?
Thanks dude hope to hear from you soon. Peace bro

good video
-
yo very cool video will help me out a lot thanks a lot man!
-
good video, you should put in the info that this works with some of the 2g TL's cause the J32A2 in the 2g Type S is almost identical to the j32a3 in the 3g TL
-
doesn't water bother the newly installed filter?
-
i just take the air filter of my charger this dude dont know anything thats why a dont buy tuners
-
short ram is way easier to install. its about as long as your stock airbox and pulls in air from the engine bay. cold air intake sits behind the fender and pulls in cold air from outside the engine bay, its longer, thats why you pull off the fender.
-
just use the cleaning kit from the company that makes your filter. you have to clean and then oil it. hopefully this helps
-
can i follow the same steps for a 7th gen v6 accord? everything looks almost identicle.
-
I've had mine on for a while and probably should clean the filter. Where can I see the easiest way to access the filter part and clean it? is there a link or guide?
-
LOL are you serious? You could have just taken off the left driver's side tire taken some simple clips off and such boom done.... You did WAY too much. Nice video though. Just you did too much. 5 stars for trying though. :)
Ok guys at your request I posted how to remove your front bumper as well on my other videos.

Son wants me to install one. OK, dumb question I know. To clean the filter, can you access through the driver side fender well, or do you need to go through the entire installation process (i.e pull bumper, etc.)?
Thanks!
