  • this is so good!!!!!!!! Vivaldi always writes such good music!

  • Vivaldi has such finess in his writing, though I find that he uses slightly the same phrases in a lot of his music, (Vivaldi Junkies, you know what I mean). Anyways, I love this piece, and I don't usually listen to pieces in major keys, but I love this one.

  • I agree. Vivaldi expresses his pieces like feelings and each time he creates another song, he expresses in a mood. This piece has joy and happiness as its mood.Btw, this almost sounds like his winter from the four seasons

  • at some point in the intro it sounds like the theme from jurrasic park:O

  • I fell in love with the violin and then classical music because of Vivaldi. His Four Seasons' Winter led me to the whole world of music-making!

i wouldn't say that romantic and classic eras suck. but i would say that those two eras have better and worse examples of music, and the better ones tend to carry on musical traditions established in the baroque and before, as opposed to abandoning them.

  • i agree.

  • I didn't mean to imply that they didn't fit, I just meant that it's fun to guess the artist for each picture that HARMONICO has paired with a particular work. :)

  • I think many of the paintings actually match the music played, if its Baroque music - then Baroque pictures are appropriate. Same with classical and other influences.

Of course - we can always use a painting which represents the music in an emotional way.
