haha okay people. stock cummins vs that stock v6 camaro will have the same result. because cummins aren't meant for racing and it has to move a truck with over a 6000 pound curb weight. so kiss my ass the camaro wins

that was a 1500. Had the stock 20" wheels. Had it been a cummins on a boosted launch there would have been a much bigger gap to make up. Add a $500 tuner to the cummins and it is a 14 sec truck. then lt1 camaros would be the comp. Spend a little more and you are in the 13's. The Hemis are slow mod for mod vs a cummins.

@RAMpageHemi look, first of all the camaro is a v6 and it's not invented for racing. My camaro took so long to overtake because as you can see in the vid I push the gas afew seconds before the RAM.

I think it was a non-hemi ram. My old '04 stratus r/t automatic got pulled on from a dig by an 07 hemi ram and it had a 1/2car on me by 60, and the r/t would make quick work of a 3.4 camaro

@RushSampson just look up the 0-60 times for stock diesel trucks, they are in the 9-10 seconds range, stock they are not fast at all. just saying

@ILUVCRAPES Gotta know what your doing...i drive a 95 ram 1500 with the 360..very little done to the engine..curb weight is 6400lbs, with me in it and everything else i have, close to 6600....i stomped the crap out of my buddys v-6 camaro with the 3.8

@ILUVCRAPES Actually, for a light to light race such as this one, a Cummins diesel would do quite well for itself, since during acceleration torque is key in being the guy ahead. So, transplanting a 650 ft./lb. inline six in the Ram will not help matters for the Camaro at all. The truck weighs a lot, and will launch well. The Camaro does not, and while it should accelerate faster than the truck, the fact that the Dodge is a powerhouse still spells demise. I don't think that Hemi was even on it.
