@MrFastestIndian look at the Noble's difficulties getting sponsors for Thrust 2. He took the LSR with very little funding. That success attracted more sponsorship for Thrust SSC, and with that success, even more funding is forthcoming. The Brits have had the LSR since 1983. Its time for the USA, the richest country on the planet, to put their hands in their pockets and present a credible challenge to Noble's team. May the BEST team WIN.

Incedently, STP, Intel and Lockheed Martin are US based corporations, providing support to the British team, against the US team.

The British team is very lucky to have the support of their government and companies such ast STP, Lockheed Martin and Intel. The North American Eagle team, on the other hand, doesn't have the support from our government. We go to schools to teach students about technologies used in our project but do it as volunteers without pay. Even with our handicap, we will take the record away from the British in the near future.
