kuwaizair: It is an interesting irony that this video happened because a boy in Justice's 3rd grade class was making fun of vegan food, and the administration of his school decided to turn the whole thing into a teaching moment by asking Justice if he would share his vegan lifestyle with his class. Justice's presentation is this video. Now his schoolmates can also learn the definition of a "ranting misanthrope": it's someone who will anonymously pour hostility onto an innocent nine-year-old boy.

I will also be raising my kids vegan, it is the best possible start for them, done correctly. If they choose to eat all that high fat crap when they get older, that is their decision. From an ethical point of view, I hope that I will have raised them well enough not to. I will not force high fat foods on my kids, that were meant for another species (COW's milk?! the clue is there?), they will eat a healthy balanced diet, as Justice appears to :-)

I think he's wonderful! I believe veganism is something he truly believes in, not just something he's doing because he was "brainwashed" by his parents.

I'm a vegetarian. I think this video is ridiculous though. This kid is just repeating what his parents have said to him like an automaton. "no dairy or milk" he doesn't even know that they're the same thing because he IS a kid. The decision to become a vegan or vegetarians shouldn't come from the parents, just the same as religion shouldnt be taught from the parents.
