Metropolitan Line arriving at Rickmansworth for Baker Street - October 2009

Metropolitan Line train arriving at Rickmansworth Station, on its way to Baker Street. (Shows 'Fast Baker Street' on the leading destination blind.) The A60's were sometimes used, back in the 1980's, to train new Guards, when 1959 stock (then on the Northern Line) was not available for use. At the time, all Guards had to be trained as, 'Emergency Motormen' or, later, 'Emergency Train Driver', hence the need.
