The most wanted professional trumpet of all the times. Miles, Chet, Dizzy and a lot of great men played this wonderful horn.

  • @stdedalus69 también los saxofones martin modelo committee :)

  • @fl2407dg Art Farmer. This song is played on flugelhorn (probably couesnon with giardinelli 6f with hugh throat)

  • Beautiful Sound. "A Time For Love" as recorded by ????????

  • @brooksvilleguy Chet played on a Martin Committee in the 50s Then on Conn Connstellation and Bueschers until the 80s when he played a Bach Strad.Maynard played a Connstellation for a time then had his own line of large bore Holtons he and some of his band were playing Dave Monette Customs when he died.

  • In an interview published on "International Trumpet Guild Journal" (march 2000), Maynard Ferguson said that Miles Davis, near 58-59, loaned his Martin to him (in fact, Miles gave it to Maynard... but take back the instrument after too weeks). Maynard said that he played on this instrument during some Birdland's dates. Maynard don't said what was the model (perhaps not a Committee) but it was a medium-large bore one.... lacqued in "green".

  • the last real comittees were made by Holton in the mid 70's. after that, the design was changed. The Schilke B-1 is, perhaps, as close as you'll get to a vintage committee. Chet did play a Conn, but also a Buescher pawn shop special, and Getzen Capri. Dizzy switched to a King Silver Flair, Al Hirt a Leblanc and Maynard a Holton.

  • Chet played a Conn Connstellation from '57 on.

  • Las Martin son trompetas bellísimas y con un sonido lleno y colorido.
