I already ride one. This thing is like being in a rocket. FU....k!!! I will buy one next week. I had a versys 650 and it was amaizing, fun to ride, but this thing is just 3 steps above.
UGLY??? are you crazy people???? Now I udertand why everybody is hearing reggaeton music. This bike rocks. and please you can not compare this bike to a BMW 1200GS. you can't compete with that. You get what you pay for. For the money the versys 1000 is Fu...kn amazing.

@mfairus3781 This one is my dream bike. A mega-trail with enough HP, loads of engine and good top speed + stunning looks, The yellow/black, also the Black and golden-brown/black. White/black is not my taste. I agree on the V-engine, but should be a V-4...and I don't see myself as such an Ego guy. lol, Xheers.

I LOVE the looks of the Versys 650 and hoped Kawasaki would bring out a gruntier version but I can't help but be completely underwhelmed by this. For me it is almost an irrelevance how it will perform as it just looks so flabby by comparison.
It may well have gone to the gym to get some muscle but it looks like it stopped off once too often at the kebab shop on the way home.
It should be called, Kawasaki Versys "The Vegas Years"
