@Playa1sweet No, it was still going, I reckon it's over 160 km/h. You just need (a lot of) time to get there... ;)

@cfmatias Man, overall it's a awesome car. It's a VW! I admit, it could be slow but it's the most luxurious and cheap 5 door hachback you can find, that's for sure.

@MiguelRelvas1 I don't think it's the best hatch you can buy, and even less the cheapest. I don't really think VW is that good and it's far from luxurious. The strong points regard both its body and interior construction, and that's it.

duude u need to shift earlier, trust me the more rev worked up your car is the more it will struggle and wear and tear, second, the top speed is more than 170 km/h for all those who wonder as when i was testing the top speed i shifted all my gears upto 5 before 3000rpm, this lets the engine smoothly take a pace at climbing up to 170 (faster than ur acceleration only upto 150) and it was still climbing. basically treat your car with care and it'll take care of your demands too

Only One question is tdi or not! I have a 1.2 tdi 3 cilinder and is not faster than it! :(
