This is a game called The Space Game by The Casual Collective. I was playing a game mode where you mine resources and select when waves of enemies attack. The aim is to do it as quickly as you can, however your way is what I do.

Whats the thing you've got off to the left?

If I remember correctly, the thing to the left might have been a backup base off the radar screen. But I would have built a backup base only if I had enough resources. I'm not sure. Whatever it is, it didn't do anything useful.

I mined every asteroid dry, then I built my bases, and finally, send in every enemy at once. This is wave mode.
