Spent a few weeks fabricating front suspension, mounts for driving lights and battery. Sonnenschein 12v gel cell battery fitted behind seat. Hella 140w driving lights. About 95% complete, good enough to drive.

  • hey how big is your rear axle? like 1 inch or something?

  • Rear is indeed 1 inch solid bar. Pretty rough, hubs and disc are just welded in place. Front axles are 3/4 inch bar.

  • your really good with the fabricating and stuff, are you like an engineer os somthing? Great kart by the way.

  • Cheers. Engineer, me? Nah, skills learnt from the workplace. Arc welder, angle grinder, power drill - my three basic tools. (Borrowed pipe bender and work lathe).

  • needs an engine
