Cylon Cake

This was my first attempt at a carved, fondant covered, figure cake.
Using the knowledge I obtained watching such shows as "Ace Of Cakes" and "Cake Boss" I figured (with my background) I could make a cake like that. So I went looking for materials, recipies, written techniques and so on.
The Cylon head was to be for a good friends Sci-Fi themed Halowe'en party. I didn't get it quite done. We ate some and I chucked the rest in the bin.
But, If anyone were to "comission" me to do this same cake, or one similar I could produce exactly what I wanted to do back then and better.

Cake was delicious by the bye...
