Bahahaha! Yeah, lobbying IS a fundamentally essential thing; it allows for people to interact with the legislators. But why the hell do we think it's okay for lobbyists to give huge-ass contributions? That changes the game entirely, from advocacy of positions to manipulation of the political system. Not to mention careers.

Because she's probably sick of hearing the spun-out meme that all lobbies are evil, which isn't true. But, it's been so spun by pundits, MSM, and people who don't understand what lobbyists are, that you have to yell and scream to get your point across.

Teachers lobby, Nurses lobby, UAW lobby, a lot of unions and other good natured organizations have lobbies.
