http://aurel192.net46.net/pcb I wrote a C Source that can be used to swell the conducting surfaces on a PCB. My program minimizes the area to etch, so the etching process will take less time, it makes the soldering easier, and you can save a lot of Ferric Chloride. It can be very useful for CNC PCB Routing. This video demonstrates how the program works.

  • Good program but you can do the same thing in your PCB package by putting a polygon fill down. Its useful for ground planes where you can use the fill to reach all areas of the board so you dont need ground tracks everywhere.

  • excellent idea ! i never could figure out why people tried to take off so much copper, I also thought it was best to leave as much on as possible- if it doesnt interfere with the design.
