Yes, there are Middle Eastern artists with darker complexions, like Mohammed Abdou and Sherine. But the thing is that Mid Easterns have very different looks, and it's actually only really Nubians who are dark - most Middle Easterns do actually have quite fair skin so it's not about certain skin colours being looked down upon...Mid Easterns, generally, just aren't dark - go to the Mid East and see for yourself ;). Not that there's anything wrong with being dark, all skin colours are beautiful :)

its crazy , i am an american man, i HATE pop music, from all cultures...except for Arabic pop music, something nice about it, I've always enjoyed the Arabic structure and sound , but never thought id be driving around listening to Lamset Eid, Akid Y Hayati Aktar, Mihtagalak etc etc, what can i say, i like what i like !
