Half Moon Chronicles, 1x03 "The River"

Okay! Finally here! I really hope you guys like this one, cuz it took a looooong time to make! Please comment, rate, and subscribe! I've been getting a lot of those lately, and when I don't get a lot of comments to begin with, it's really discouraging for me. Thanks! :)

Oh yeah. Don't read the rest of this unless you've actually watched the episode. This has spoilerz.

Soooooo...big stuff happening here. Frozen river, ice breaks, Karrom falls in and drowns. YUP. I'm so evil. I know the plot design is confusing...I'm sorry! It moves really fast, I know. Basically, when Lazura goes down to find Karrom, there are the dark wolfies who block her way. They tell her to leave. She does. XD My mind doesn't work very well right now. I'm tiiiired.

Thralia meets some peeps from the next few eppies! Recognize a few of them? They're designs changed a tad, but you can tell a bit. Thralia's design changed, too - becoming simpler and easier to animate. Yuppers.

I know the water animation is choppy and bad. It's my first time animating water and it's HARD! I took a lot of shortcuts whenever I could, but it looks bad...no matter what I do.

So, yeah. This is the last episode with only two or three voice actors. The next one has a looot more. Be ready.

Nooooow I'm tired. I'm going to sleeppppp.

Hey, cute series and all but i'm a bit confused. How is there ice during this time a year? I mean, the wolves were born in the spring, no? And now they should be 6 months old since they're out wandering, so it should only be summer/fall, No?

@SunWhiteWolf Right now it's early winter, and in episode four you'll hear two pups which are roughly her age say that they are nearly two seasons old. As it turns out, Thralia is a tad older than them. She is already half a year old when the wolves from the pack have found her. So she was born sometime early summer, is my estimate. Not quite spring, but close enough. I don't believe I ever said they were born in the spring but I might have said it somewhere, without meaning to.

The shadowy wolf is indeed a real wolf, just a very creepy and nasty one. You learn later on in the series that he was one of the enemies of the pack Thralia meets (if you continue on to the other episodes you'll get more background on them), though his reasons for straying this far into unknown territory are thus far, unclear. Don't worry; the reasons for almost every unusual act in the beginning will be explained later on!

@GDWfan1 It's kind of a pain to draw the claws out when it's not even a close-up. If I'm looking for deep detail, I'll add them in, but usually I do not put claws on wolves if I can't help it. It's my style of drawing. If you don't like it, too bad. I'm not changing it.
