1983 KZ750F shed rescue 3

The carbs are completed and installed. The bike is hooked up to a manometer for carb synchronizing and is run for the first time in 10+ years.

I have been kinda excited about this project, I have not driven a motorcycle in over 4 years... I think I'm due!

Another thing I learned, is when you first start up the bike, feel the temp of the exhuast headers... they should feel the same temp, equally as it warms up... if not, they are not burning equally.

Did you set the float height? that part is the most important part, else, you will be pulling it appart again.

ps.. grab some "open" exhust pipes for that bad boy it will sound even cooler and give you extra hp and when you open it it up on the road it will scare the crap out of you! =P

Great work gearhead48 ! Trust me it will be worth riding that old bike (I) we... do the same thing fixing old stuff. Yes i have a newer harley but i all so have an 82 honda cb450 that I love. my newest project is restoring an old "iron head" harley motor to build a custom bike =)
