It goes to show example that teaching abstinence until marriage is a flawed philosophy because, like you said, the children aren't willing to listen to it. Statistics show that people who are raised to practice abstinence instead of safe sex are much more likely to have a child out of wedlock, and much more likely to contract an STD. Does this break up surprise anyone? I believe the engagement was only thought up and announced because the air-head mother was on the McCain ticket. im not sure what you meant by your reply to my comment. In the case of Bristol Palin she didn't have a choice but to be a mother once her mother found out she was pregnant. There is no way she was going to be allowed to give the baby up for adoption or have an abortion. Bristol's options were few once she became pregnant because of her mothers position on freedom of choice verses right to life and Levi gets to walk away clean if he wants to do so.

I do not knw why everyone is so upset about the split between these two kids. It is a common action that occurs when teens have babies. Its also common for them to reuinte also. It is a merely how things work sometimes. Niether one of them were ready to be parents so young however Bristol doesnt have much of choice but to be ready because she is the mother and Levi has more options unfortunately because he is the man. Its not fair but its true. This same story plays out daily every where
