Through dance, music and media art, Kenyettá shatters the silence surrounding issues such as promiscuity and infidelity as well as domestic abuse and homelessness. By boldly stepping into a celebration of freedom, this dance company urges its viewers to find the strength to raise their voices and speak for themselves.

Kenyettá Dance Company (KDC) provides a unique view of the beauty and expressiveness of contemporary modern dance. KDC utilizes movement as a way to articulate the importance of community, collaboration and open hearts. Founded in 2004 by brother and sister Nicholas and Vanessa Owens, the dance company provides extraordinary performances and training to communities throughout Indianapolis.

very interseting.. i battled with being homeless at least twice in my life time.. it is a struggle and a pattern hard to break the bondage that caused the homelessness but it can be broken
