I somewhat agree with what richyrik is saying, but being rude does not help any situation even if you are 100% correct, you can be wrong in the way you go about being right. What I do not like about the modern versions of Pacific cultures is that they seem to all be meshed together into a single new age island culture. Although this may cause some false reprisentation of some aspects of each culture, it also draws many people in to see and enjoy learning of who we are, and make it interesting

@kanaka85 no its not. originally it was practically nude. but they dont allow that these days. hehehe

who is this richryk1, you come to guam, make a living here and then start disrespecting our culture. you need to reevaluate yourself and look at the big picture, on the other video you said" no wonder why the spanish called these people stealers". i'm guessing your micronesian, now if you really think hard and maybe take look a around you probably see who the thieves are around guam. no disrespect to micronesians. now if you think our culture sucks here, then go back home.

@richyrik1 ...i see ur at it again.First it's Guam, then Tinian. What next? The moon? lol.. If you took the time to research the history of it's cultural development you would know much of it is " recreation". An attempt to represent what " may "have been. They don't claim to be exact and those that do are misinformed . " All" cultures change due influence by outsiders, including yours, but maybe in your world nothing ever changes? It seems obvious from ur comments. Why all the negativity?

@richyrik1 maybe there's a communication problem? Can't believe an educator would use the terms "fake" and "stealers" without clarifying what it really is they are trying to teach. Maybe you should question the teachers about what they mean. It might make for an interesting discussion. I'll be in Guam soon for a few weeks. I would like to meet the teachers who tell you this stuff and have that discussion. Perhaps we could all learn something. Lemme' know,,,
