I don't understand why people keep saying he was conjunto, he was a musician to the fullest extent. He could sit in any night club or bar in the USA and be able to hang no matter what style or genre was being played. He was Jazz musician that just happened to play conjunto as well.

He was the best in the world, I don't care who you compare him to, he was the best ever!!

i was in waukegan il friday the 13 waiting on Esteban when i heard the news he was sopose to play there that night i watched as the took down the posters it was hard. U will be missed Esteban never forgotten.........
