Living Japan: New Years in Tokyo & ShichirigaHama, Japan

:D This year was quite possibly the best New Years I will ever have in my life! & I was so happy I went with the friends I did! There were many great moments that I will remember forever!

If you're near Tokyo the temple near Tokyo Tower is definitely the best place to do the countdown (Shinjuku tends to be full of overly"rowdy"gaijin)

After that I definitely suggest going to one of my favorite spots in Japan, ShichirigaHama (about 2 hours by train from Tokyo). It's a little warmer, the weather is always great & the view is incredible! To our left we had the sunrise & to our right, a great view of Mt. Fuji! There's also a 7-11 right there if you're hungry etc.

I don't think they do actually, I was wondering about that myself. I think they do further south in Chiba...maybe also in Osaka? I'm not sure.

^_^ Yeah not bad actually. I traveled a ton during winter break here so I wasn't sure if I was up for it, but I'm glad I went this time. I think what helped keep us awake was the cold & we were all so psyched...and kept drinking coffee from vending machines to stay warm..that may have had something to do with it... ^___^ <3

^_^ Thanks!  I knoooow...I've got tons of footage in folders for videos I want to edit & post but the program I'm in is so intensive, I just haven't had time. In about 3 weeks the semester will be over & then I can start piecing videos together again.
