I went to thrift store in Concord called ARF Thrift Store. All the mens' shirts sweaters tops were 50¢ each. I bought 2 sweater vest, 1 denim vest, 2 shirts and a sweater for 50¢ each. Got a Singer 6105 which was made in 1978 for $50 in good condition. The table went to another machine but I can use it as a end table. My purchase went to help animals. Good deed Katrena!

  • awesome! i have a antique sewing machine, its a singer, got it at a thrift store too for like $40, has all the accessories in its drawer and had tons of antique needle packs, needle threaders etc.. it is my computer desk im using right now lol. it has to be old, its that real antique looking olive green like color with a huge silver knob on the right that you turn for your sewing foot. i was going to start collecting but things happened, got in the way.. do u use the shirts for sewing projects?
