I had the pleasure to meet James Baxter at an Animation festival last year. He showed some work from 'How To Train Your Dragon' and it got a standing ovation. No other speaker from the whole week managed that. He's a such a nice guy. Which is rare when you are as talented as he is.

@traditionaljumpman Don't forget Glen Keane :) my favourite.
My favourite work of James Baxter is Spirit. He truly captures the vivid and realistic movements, twitches and poses of a horse. I love watching the film just to witness the amazing animation.

Unbelievable dedication to his career
Beautiful animation!... But this isn't rough, this is clean-up animation.

@Manakuuchiha There might be one clean up shot of Rafiki's hands but most are James' tie down rough animation. You can see the timing charts and partial drawings.
