  • I love the use of more traditional style of drums, although I would question the practicality of that particular style of bass drum.

  • The bass drum is a traditional bass drum turned on its side on a drum stand to add visual aspects to the playing on this set of tunes.

    thanks

  • First class as per normal from the black scull, would have been nice to hear a bit more 'open' based drumming with a little more variety in the rudiments. Open 7 stroke rolls work well along with open drags and ratamacus, sixtuplets and of course the ultimate fife and drum rudiment the flamacue. All the good American rudimental stuff works well on rope tension drums. Still very well played, the CDs the Skull produce are a joy to the ear.

  • VERY well done!!!!!!

  • @darrendoc100 mate the name of the jig at this moment alludes me however you will find it on the middlesex county volunteers cd.....i think its there first one (CD). The name of the CD may be called Lafayete's Ghost. you may be able to go on there website and listen to a sample of it.
