@mattscards1 Actually I think the helicopter should have got a little closer and taken some better video. Fly right over there.. where you can see the people in the houses looking out saying " oh sh*t!! Jeez, he was a 1/2 mile above the ground. About 3/4 of the way through you see a helicopter flying down low... way down there. I want to see his footage. The News teams need to grow some balls and get down.

If you look real close at 24-28 seconds.. there is a man to the right.. he is running for his life.. and the tsunami sweeps him up.. you never see him again.

It's sad..but that's what you get for driving a Honda or Toyota...they can't outrun an angry dog.
I bet Subaru drivers survived, no problems.

Fucking helicoter should have warn those people in the traffic jams, at least make some type of attempt. Instead the idiot keep recording something else. Fucking morons.

You are right!! instead of getting the 7:00 news material, he should be going near the roads with a bullhorn warning people!! Get the f**ck out of here!!!! a Tsunami is coming!! How about warning the people at the red light!! "Move it!!" NO!! He just backed off. "And look at this area right here did you see the way the waves crashed up that water tower and took that house away!" @kvjlkajkj The fact that the helicopter was orbiting right over the jammed up motorists was indication enough as to just how close the torrent was. They couldn't do more. The smart drivers ran for the overpass. Also, the drivers that raced to the dead-end and then made it to the house likely survived, as the house appeared to be still standing after the flood passed on either side.
