Short monologue from Elisha Cuthbert (Nina Deere) to Camilla Belle (Dot) from the movie "The Quiet."

This clip features the major turning point in the movie, after which Dot, who has recently moved into her godparent's house due to her father's tragic death, begins to realize this new seemingly ideal family harbors a dark secret.

(EDIT): For all of those wanting to see the full movie, there is a high quality version at TORRENTSPY dot COM, and there are tutorials on how to work torrents for those of you who do not know how. If you have any more specific questions, feel free to private message me.

  • I am disturbed by how turned on I was by that...

  • 30 people fucked by their papa :p

  • this is crazyyyyyyyyy

  • @optronixatron It's called learned helplessness. she sees her mom (who is supposed to be the strongest woman figure) submitting to the unrealistic "all american" family-type. And her mom's pill popping. and her dad groomed her. Think of how we groom our dogs- they love it. It's a sign of affection for them. With children and young adults. Her father took advantage of her and she doesnt know what to do about it so she WON'T do anything; that might be half the reason she tells dot.

  • Eeeeeeeewwwww

  • @ania17e Appassionata, 1st movement.

  • @varnergirl oh, TOTALLY!!!! i mean, their always like, "I can't like her, FUCK!!!"

during the whole fucking movie, lol

and when it gets to the final scene, when we're like "it's now, it's NOW!" they just smile at each other and play the damn piano -.-"
