Famous guitar solo by Eddie Van Halen in the track 'Beat it' by Michael Jackson off the 1982 Thriller album. I used a digitech whammy pedal for the dive bombs and things as I have no whammy bar. I used my vintage copy of a Gibson Les Paul through a Fender Hot Rod. I also used a TC Nova system pedal for the gain sounds.

@nicklei369 I reckon with her guitar I could but the only guitar I have with a whammy bar is a fender strat and its not got good enough pickups for the tapping parts :-( Gonna still try though! :-)

but how did u use the whammy pedal to make the note go lower?

@rtsoccerplayer You can set the pedal so when you depress it, it goes down either one or 2 octaves from the note you are playing. Like a wah wah pedal when you press down it gets more trebly, with the whamy pedal when you push down it lowers the note loads like having a whammy bar. Hope that helps :-)
